PAPATYA KINDERGARTEN ERASMUS PLUS K229 PROJECT TURKEY-ROMANIA APRIL MEETING REPORT Date: Wednesday, April 28, 2021 Responsible: Project coordinator and duty teachers Purpose: Evaluation of April activity-project implementations, school visit of our Erasmus + project partners and process evaluation Tools: In-class and school-wide practice materials and visuals Target Audience: Papatya Kindergarten project responsible teachers, preschool students and school administrators Meeting items: 1. With the studies conducted in April, monthly gains of the classes and the interactions between two cultures were evaluated. Teachers shared their classroom-based experiences. The student skills observed during the implementation of the month's activity plans were discussed. The activity application photos and videos were shared by the project coordinator in the Facebook group. 2. PAPATYA ANAOKULU ERASMUS PLUS K229 PROJECT TURKEY- ROMANIA MARCH MEETING REPORT Date: March 19 2021 Friday Acccountable: Project coordinator and incumbent teachers Means: Evaluation of March activity-project implementations and distribution of tasks between teachers Materials: In-class application materials and visuals, zoom online meeting application Target Group: Papatya Kindergarten’s project responsible teachers and school administrators Meeting Items: Gulliver Kindergarten’s painting exhibition was visited via zoom meeting by Papatya Kindergarten 5-B class. Accompanied by the responsible teacher, the project team introduced the visual arts activities and offered our students the opportunity to examine them. TRAINING SESSION WITH STORYTELLING TOPIC Responsible: participant no.1 at JSTE (TR) Objectives: Acquiring knowledge in storytelling methodology Means: photos, audio-video recordings, interactive, intercultural games, ice-breaking, formal, informal methods Target group: Teachers from local institutions in TR Result: Familiarizing teachers with the use of the Storytelling method in an intercultural context and cultural good practices Indicator: 1 training session First Target Group: PAPATYA ANAOKULU 5 March 2020 DAY 1 All teachers and sta ff greeted us when we came to the school. First, we gifted special to our culture Turkish co ff ee, Turkish delight and cups and taught them how to make Turkish co ff ee. Later, all classes in the school were visited and examined. Classes were very large and organized. Each class was di ff erent from each other. There were beds that could be opened and closed in younger age groups.

Description of the project KA229 Cultures and interculturality The future of Europe will be based on smart, sustainable and inclusive education: improving the quality and effectiveness of education systems in the EU. In this context, preschool education is the keystone of the success of lifelong learning, social integration, personal development, and later professional insertion. The preschool period is the stage where education can influence the development of children with the highest efficiency. By cultivating values such as respect for the other, tolerance towards diversity, complementarity between values, the kindergarten is able to harness the potential wealth of multiculturalism without undoing the identity of any culture. The Gulliver Kindergarten in Sfântu Gheorghe aims to carry out the KA229 Cultures and interculturality project between 01.12.2019 - 30.11.2021 between the Gulliver Kindergarten in Romania and Papatya Anaokulu in Turkey. The objectives of the project are: enh
