APRIL MEETING REPORT

Purpose: Evaluation of April activity-project implementations, school visit of our Erasmus + project partners and process evaluation
Tools: In-class and school-wide practice materials and visuals
Target Audience: Papatya Kindergarten project responsible teachers, preschool students and school administrators
Meeting items:
1. With the studies conducted in April, monthly gains of the classes and the interactions between two cultures were evaluated. Teachers shared their classroom-based experiences. The student skills observed during the implementation of the month's activity plans were discussed. The activity application photos and videos were shared by the project coordinator in the Facebook group.
2. This month, our Erasmus project partners Gulliver Kindergarten teachers and administrators visited Papatya Kindergarten and the skills gained in this process were evaluated by the participants. Our guests made classroom visits during the events that took place between April 6-9. Teachers shared their students' observations and opinions about visitors.
During this period, our students had the opportunity to interact with people from different cultural levels. Our school teachers and project team found opportunities to introduce our cultural values and attitudes. Our school administration gave informative details about the use of common areas of the school with trips and presentations introducing Papatya Kindergarten. Activities promoting our culture, such as marbling art, traditional Turkish folk dance performances, and traditional Turkish shadow play, were organized throughout the school.
Our project partners took part in activities that enriched their visits by participating in the culture and history trips we are in. During the visits, we collaborated with Nilüfer Kindergarten, who shared common projects and experiences with our school, and shared information during the process.
3. The meeting process was concluded with the review and evaluation of the photos of the responsible teacher and the project team.
